So far I have us linked back from Nebraska to Illinois, Ohio, and if correct, back to 1857 when Frederick Strinhauer came over and changed his last name to Steinhour. There are a lot of Steinhours in Vermont and if anyone knows if we are related, please email me.
We live in the Virginia Suburbs west of Washington DC, in the shadows of the Shenandoah Mountains. We love living here. There are always fun things to do and experience. From the free Smithsonian Museums along the Mall, Theaters, and concerts, to the ocean and Chesapeake Bay to the East and the Shenandoah mountains in the West.
